The Annual Blob Fest in Phoenixville, PA

Tonight (July 9th) the borough of Phoenixville in Chester County, Pennsylvania held its annual Blob Fest in honor of Phoenixville's part in the movie "The Blob".  Phoenixville is located northwest of Philadelphia and tonight there was the annual re-enactment of the scene where all the movie goers ran frantically from the movie theater to escape The Blob.  It is the same movie theater that Steve McQueen visited in 1958.

Oh the blob I haven't thought abot that movie in a while, didn't they save themselves by going in the freezer.  Blobs don't like the cold.

I loved The Blob, but I pretty much like all science fiction and horror movies, so I'm an easy sell.
