How To Get A Copy Of Your Deed in Delaware County, Pennsylvania
If you are in need of a copy of the deed to your home or property, this is all you have to do:
----- Go to the Delaware County Courthouse located at 201 West Front Street, Media, Pennsylvania 19063(610) 891-4384, anytime Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) between 8:30 AM and 4 PM
----- Bring change for the parking meter if you are driving
----- You will need to go through a metal detector after you enter the courthouse
----- The office you want to go to is the Recorder of Deeds Room 108, which is on the main level all the way in the back of the building near a set of stairs
----- There is a $4 fee at this time to receive your copy
----- No appointment necessary

Probably a dumb question, but I'll ask anyway. Will a copy of the deed include easements or are easements separate documents to be sourced elsewhere? Thank you.
Hi Charlie, I just called the Media Court House to get an answer to your question, and I was told that, no it is not a given that easements are on a deed. There are people called "searchers" who can be hired to look for easements I was told. Or contact a title company to help you out. Hope this helps.
