New Walking Trail Along Ridley Creek in Chester Park, County, PA
There is a new place to walk in Delaware County. A trail was made with a stretch along Ridley Creek. New trees have been planted at the top of the trail. And there is an incline that adds to the cardio work out. Thanks to the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources. Check it out some time!

Nice presentation! Walking trails here in Wake County NC are everywhere. And this one along Ridley Creek looks like a great one.
Nellie, thank you. It offers a great opportunity for a quick stroll and very easy walking since it is fully paved.
Take care,
Gloria
Gloria - Can I take the dogs there for a jog?
Hi Suzanne, Sure, but not sure if it will be long enough for you. It is a 20 minute loop walking and at least a quarter of that loop is on the road on a hill in the park.....Or you could avoid the road and turn around and go back. Doug and I have walked it a few times. It is a nice change for that park.
Thanks for stopping by. Gloria
How do I get to this trail? Where does it begin? Is there parking?
Hi Courtney, The trail begins by the parking lot near the tennis courts and ends near the bridge that goes over Ridley Creek, but just continue up the road back to the first parking lot to make the full circle. Takes around 20 minutes. OR start at the other end. Either way it is a nice walk.
To get to Chester Park....Take Rt 352 South from Route 1 near Granite Run Mall. The park entrance is on the left just as you enter Chester. Park in front of the tennis courts and you will see the beginning of the trail just beyond the parking area.
If you are on Brookhaven Road from Rt 252, make a left on Waterville and then take the first left into the Park. Park in the lot right after the bridge. The trail begins there.
Enjoy. Thanks for visiting. Gloria
