Just What are those Winter Olympic Flowers.....

Sorry - no roses at the 2010 OlympicsLast night I heard a report on the NBC Nightly News about the bouquets given to the medal winners at the Olympics. The creators of the bouquets are part of a program run through a flower shop in Surrey, British Columbia. The women who create these bouquets are "women who have left prison, are recovering from addiction, or have been victims of violence"  . Amazing! And the flowers are green mums (yes I was right!) and hypericum berries.

I've been wondering about those bouquets.  Green mums!  I didn't even know they existed.  And the rest of the story is amazing.
