That is great news for seniors but the problem is the state needs that money to maintain the roads. They already claim to be losing money maintaining them. Where will it come from?

Hi Eric,  Thanks for the question and your concern.  This is already something in place.  I would hope the Delaware River Port Authority had weighed the sides before offering this program to Seniors.  The way I understand where the money goes from E-Z Pass collections is into the pot for "paid" roads and bridges.  And if the DRPA is having difficulties, then by all means they should drop this program.  But until that time, this is a way for Seniors on a fixed income to save some money.   Sincerely, Gloria

I have been putting off getting this, but it's a definite for the shore this summer !!!!!!!!!!

Mike, we have an E-Z Pass and it is great when you are traveling at peak times.  Going to the shore, now that sounds really wonderful right now!

Timely information. I will pass it on to my senior clients who will be going to the shore this summer.

Correct me if I am wrong but I believe this senior citizen discount only applies to the Port Authority bridges over the Delaware,

Adib.

Hi Adib, Thank you for stopping and pointing this out to me.  I called to check on this and you are correct.  So I will make a note of this in my post.  Still a great savings for those people using the bridges.

In appreciation,
Gloria
