Wordless Wednesday - If You Can See Me The Hunters Can See Me (Photo and post by Gloria)
Happened upon this field with my camera in hand, just prior to hunting season. Nature's colors are amazing when it comes to camouflage. If one does not look closely many wonderful things can be missed.

Oh, is that a fawn? I can't tell with the camouflage whether it is a baby or a full grown doe. What a great eye to capture that!!!!
I'm not a good hunter and I can't find it!...okay, now I see it - ears.
Marney, It was not a full grown deer and not a baby. I wish my camera had more zoom. She watched me without moving until I was out of sight. I so treasure shared moments with creatures like that.
Carol or Lee, Great you found her! Yes the ears!
To others who may not be able to find her, she is in the tall, deer colored grass, just below the tree line slightly to the right of center. Hope you can find her! ----Gloria
Gloria - I looked at the picture before looking at the comments and felt there was a dear in the grass ... as you say one does have to look closely.
Thanks for trying to find her Kathy. I was hesitant to post this because my camera was not the best for distiance. Glad you found her. ----Gloria
Doug and Gloria,
