If you have never been to Tom Jones Family Restaurant for breakfast you are missing an experience. This is a hot spot for low budget eating and a place where time has stood still. The waitresses all wear respectively short skirts, most of the seating is in booths, of course there is the counter for those who may be in a hurry or want to chat with the staff, and you will most likely be called "hun" when you interact with your server. The Blue Ribbon Special is by far the favorite breakfast choice and for good reason. For only $3.49 you will receive a hot beverage, a cold beverage, eggs, hotcakes, toast, sausage and bacon. What a deal and they make it 24 hours a day!
I drive by this place many times during the week at various hours of the day and I am always amazed at how busy it can be at the most unexpected times. Plan to go to breakfast when you are really hungry and are not in a hurry, because you will most likely have to wait in line to be served. In my experience, service has been good and I am always happy to leave with a full belly and change in my pocket.
