Today was a day to stay indoors and ride out the storm.
Isaias came up the coast yesterday and made a bee line for Delaware County, Philadelphia and New England, this morning and into the early afternoon.
It's interesting how storms often seem to take 95 North, which Delaware County straddles.
We wanted to do some shopping today, so we waited for a lull and headed out. We encountered only one minor area of flooding, until we entered the parking lot of the Eddystone ShopRite, off of Chester Ave.
Luckily we did not have to go further on Chester Ave, because Crum Creek had overtaken the road.
Isaias was a fast moving Tropical Storm, that dumped a lot of rain and created a handful of twisters that did a lot of damage in the Tri-State area.
Now the sun is shinning.
