Is it time to take down my hummingbird feeder?
I have only seen bees and insects at the feeder lately.
But then I often do not see a hummingbird at my feeder because they tend to drink and hurry on. Sometimes in the really hot weather I see them feeding from flowers in the garden as well as feed at the feeder.
There are only a few hummingbirds that hang around as it is. And I know that only because they chase each other so only one can feed at a time, even though there are four perches.
I asked a friend who lives close by if he has seen any at his feeder and he said no, not recently.
Well I guess it is time to take down the feeder, until next April.
