House Verses Home (Written by Gloria)
A house is a structure that becomes a home when lived in. Okay that's one way of looking at it. Yet these words are used differently when a house is marketed for sale. I find I often flip flop between the use of these words in my professional dealings and as I write a post for a blog.
It even overflows into townhouses and townhomes.
Webster makes the distinction that a home is a domicile and a house is a building, with both pointing back at each other.
Either way my mind usually plays a quick flip-flop between these two words prior to my writing or speaking.
How about you? House or Home?
