March is Red Cross Month! Donate in 2012!
The Red Cross is one of those organizations that can be counted on to help people in need when a disaster strikes. And this Winter of 2012 is proving to be the beginning of a year when many are in need. Many states in the Midwest have been hit hard by unseasonably strong storms with much fury. Many lives have been lost, disrupted and homes totally destroyed.
If you have ever considered giving blood, now is the time.
If you have ever considered volunteering your time, now is the time.
If you are looking for an organization to donate to that makes a difference, then consider the Red Cross.
Back in 1943 President Franklin Roosevelt, honorary chairman of the Red Cross, declared March “Red Cross Month”, and ever since the Red Cross has used March as its main thrust for fundraising.
No donation is too small. It all makes a difference and we can all have a positive impact for those in need.
