Hire Professionals To Care For Your Interior Landscaping

Hiring a landscaper to do your outside yard work frees up your time to be with your family and helps to maintain a look you desire around your home and/or office.  But have you ever considered an interior landscaper?  Or did you know they even existed?  Well there are businesses out there that will do the same thing for your interior space as one can expect from an exterior landscaper.  That is, they will bring in plants to your home or office and return on a regular basis to care for your plants.
Houseplant
I figured big offices and buildings did this sort of thing but I had never imagined there was a market for this sort of work in homes and small offices until I crossed paths with such a company when I lived in Seattle 10 years ago.  And I thought to myself what a great idea.  It just reminded me that there is a market for almost everything.

So if your pocketbook allows it and you want the benefits of having live plants in your living and working environments consider hiring a professional Interior Landscaper.

Here are a few links I happened upon on the Internet.

The Air We Breathe

Most of us spend many hours indoors during our working and off hours depending on our lifestyles and thePhilodendrom demands of our professions.  That means we are breathing in air that may not be the best air to breathe.  New construction materials, new carpets, new furniture, and cigarette smoke: these are many ways harmful toxins get into our enclosed spaces.  Thanks to research done by NASA in the 1980's they learned that by bringing houseplants into our living and working spaces we can improve the quality of the air we breathe.

A live plant not only brings the natural world into a given space, which is a calming sight in my opinion, but through the process of photosynthesis (remember that from elementary school science class?) transforms carbon, water and light into oxygen.  As stated in the links below, some plants also have the ability to remove harmful toxins from the air during this process of photosynthesis.  What giving life forms!

Now I know many of you may say, "but I don't have a green thumb".  Well go with the plants that are the hardiest.  In my experience philodendrom, pathos, spider plants and snake plants (aka mother-in-law's tongueMother-In-Law's Tongue plants) require the least amount of care.

Who knows you may discover a new hobby this is healthy, calming and fun.       (written by Gloria)

ROSE TREE PARK, MEDIA, PENNSYLVANIA (Delaware County)

Welcome to Rose Tree ParkROSE TREE MEDIA PARK, MEDIA, PENNSYLVANIA (Delaware County)
1671 N. Providence Road (Route 252 & Rose Tree Road)
Media, PA 19063
(610)565-7410

Rose Tree Park is a place where one can walk, recycle, plant a garden, enjoy freeRose tree Media Community Garden concerts in the summer and think of peace on earth while looking at the decorative lights offered during the winter holiday season.

One of the treats of summer is being able to go to a free concert in Rose Tree Park.  Situated under theRose Tree Media Amphitheater & Grass Terraces sky, and then stars after nightfall one can enjoy live entertainment from many area performers.  Bands and dance troupes do their thing on the stage of the outdoor amphitheater while entertaining people as they sit in their lawn chairs or on blankets on the grass terraces in front of the stage.  Some people make a real outing with these concerts by bringing dinner, then enjoying a show.  Other people make it a place to gather with friends and family members.  It can be a destination for a date, or it can provide a comfortable environment for those lone lovers of live entertainment.  It is a wonderful alternative to sitting in front of a TV.

Shortly after Thanksgiving as the holiday season gets underway, the park has its annual tree lighting ceremony which kicks off the season for nightly displays of lights in honor of the peace of the season.

Rose Tree Tavern in Rose Tree ParkOn the corner of the property you may notice a closed up stone building.  Well that is the Rose Tree Tavern.  In 2004 it was moved inland around 200 feet to make way for a future expansion of the intersection it had been built on in the late 1700's.  A heartfelt thanks to the powers that be, that saved this historical building from the wrecking ball.  For more info check here www.pspe.org/delco/rosetree.pdf

So whenever you choose or you just happen to be on the outskirts of Media on Route 252, take a few minutes to stop and enjoy the peace and calm that this green setting can offer.
